How Atémpora handles your personal data when you join the Belén waitlist or use Belén.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Carlos Zuñiga, a sole proprietor doing business as Atémpora Estudio ("Atémpora," "we," "us"), located at Eje Metropolitano 26, Col. Centro, Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, 64000, is the controller of your personal data.

This policy covers Belén, Atémpora's AI agent for online stores: its page at atempora.studio/en/belen, its waitlist, the app at belen.atempora.studio and the emails we send you about Belén. We issue it under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), and it also explains your rights if you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom or the United States.

For any privacy question, email hola@atempora.studio.

2. Data we process

2.1 Waitlist

  • Your email address.

  • The language of the page where you signed up and the form you used.

  • The date and time you signed up.

2.2 Your account, once Belén opens

  • The name, email and profile photo of the Google account you sign in with.

  • Your credit balance and activity, and the status of your plan.

  • Billing details shared by our payment provider, such as country, amount, date and payment status. We never receive your full card details.

2.3 What you share with Belén

  • Your online store's address.

  • The messages you send Belén, her replies, and the documents and designs she creates.

  • The memory of your store that Belén keeps and that you can correct.

2.4 Store information Belén looks at

Belén reviews your store from the outside, like any customer. She looks at public information: your pages, prices, reviews and your brand's active ads in the Meta Ad Library. She never asks for passwords or access to your store admin or ad accounts.

Public reviews may include your customers' names or opinions. Belén uses them only to analyze your store and never uses them to contact anyone.

2.5 Technical data

  • IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and the page you came from.

  • Session cookies in the app, and analytics and advertising cookies on the website (see section 6).

We don't process sensitive personal data. Please don't share it in your messages to Belén.

3. How we use your data

3.1 To provide the service

We need your data to provide what you ask for. This is necessary to perform our agreement with you:

  • Add you to the waitlist, confirm your signup and let you know when Belén opens.

  • Create and manage your account.

  • Run the service: review your store and ads, answer your messages, create diagnoses and designs, and keep your store's memory.

  • Manage your credits and plan, and process payments, cancellations and refunds.

  • Give you support and answer your requests.

We also use it to keep the service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal and tax obligations, based on our legitimate interests and legal duties.

3.2 Optional uses

These uses are based on your consent or our legitimate interests, and you can opt out anytime without losing your waitlist spot or your account:

  • Send you news, content and offers about Belén and Atémpora.

  • Review Belén's conversations and results, with access limited to our team, to fix mistakes and improve her answers.

  • Measure how the website and app are used, and how our ad campaigns perform.

To opt out, email hola@atempora.studio with the subject "Limit uses" and tell us which ones. You can also stop news emails with the unsubscribe link they include.

When you buy a plan or a top-up, Polar Software, Inc. (United States) charges you as merchant of record. Polar receives your payment details, issues your receipt and handles them as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.

We don't sell or rent your personal data, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond the Meta Pixel described in section 6. We would share it with others only if the law or a competent authority requires it.

5. International transfers

Your data is processed in Mexico, the United States and the other countries listed above. When the law of your country requires it, we rely on the safeguards our providers offer, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

  • Essential: the app uses session cookies to keep you signed in. You can't use Belén without them.

  • Analytics: Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, PostHog and Framer analytics record visits, clicks and scrolling on the website.

  • Advertising: the Meta Pixel measures whether our campaigns bring visits and signups.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics and advertising cookies doesn't affect your signup or your account.

7. How long we keep your data

  • Waitlist: until Belén opens and we let you know, or until you ask to leave the list.

  • Account and content: while your account is active. If you close it, we delete or anonymize your data, except what we must keep for legal or tax reasons.

8. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, and object to how we use it. Depending on where you live, you may also ask us to restrict its use, send you a copy in a portable format, or withdraw your consent. California residents can also ask what personal information we collect and how we use it, and we won't treat you differently for using these rights.

To use any of these rights, email hola@atempora.studio with the subject "Privacy request" and include your name, the email you signed up with, and what you'd like us to do. We may ask you to verify your identity. We reply within 20 business days, and within one month if the GDPR applies to you. This is free.

You can also complain to a data protection authority. In Mexico it is the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno. In the European Union or the United Kingdom, it's the authority in the country where you live.

9. Security

We protect your data with encrypted connections (HTTPS), access limited to the people who need it, passwords and keys stored outside our code, and providers with recognized security practices. If a breach significantly affects your rights, we'll email you with what happened, which data was involved and what you can do.

10. Children

Belén is for people 18 and older who run an online store. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If we find any, we delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We'll post any changes on this page with a new "Last updated" date. If a change is significant, we'll also email you.

12. Contact

Email hola@atempora.studio or write to Eje Metropolitano 26, Col. Centro, Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, 64000.
